| DISCLAIMER: The information in Nutrition News Focus is intended
only to help you understand the Nutrition News. We do not recommend
any treatment, food or supplement. It is not intended to replace
the advice of a physician. If you read something in this newsletter
that in any way contradicts what your physician tells you, TAKE YOUR
PHYSICIANS ADVICE, NOT OURS. |
| RATIONALE:
Right now, there are a significant number of posts on sci.med.nutrition
that are either sales pitches for nutritional products or cross-posted
arguments over the ethics of eating meat. The ethical considerations
for eating meat are on topic themes for talk.politics.animals and
rec.food.veg - they are not on topic for sci.med.nutrition. Sales pitches
are not welcome in sci groups. The on topic discussions have become
the minority in the last year, and as a result many regular contributors
have left the newsgroup. |
| As many of you know, Nutrition News Focus is a free daily email
newsletter that teaches you how to make sense of the often confusing
nutrition news that were all bombarded with every day. When the big
nutrition stories are breaking, we often publish our analysis the very
next day. Many people are exasperated by the contradictions they get
in the nutrition news as reported by the popular press. Nutrition
news is important. Dont turn off to it just because its presented
poorly. Well show you how to use it to your benefit. |
| -Please stay on topic
The CHARTER of sci.med.nutrition states that the purpose of this
